Psychosynthesis based counselling
Building Strengths and Motivation
Hilary Chamberlain
What are the issues that face you at the moment?
Do you just have a sense that you need to talk with someone who is skilled in helping people to work through their problems?
Perhaps there is just a need to feel professionally supported right now.
Psychosynthesis counselling offers you the chance to look at issues that are important to you in confidence and without judgement. It can help you to have a greater understanding of yourself, your strengths and potential..
I work as a counsellor with individuals in Bridgwater and Taunton both as part of the NHS and in private practice and also have experience of working with children and staff as a counsellor in a local comprehensive school. I have particular experience in working with heart arrhythmia.
I completed the Exploring Spirituality course in 1998 and spent time as a Spiritual Director before undertaking three and a half years developing my training in counselling. My professional background is in psychosynthesis which draws on different therapeutic models to support an individual’s journey through life.
Together we can work with a range of ways that can help with inner conflicts, pain and confusion.
Counselling can be helpful for:
Self-confidence and self-esteem.
Managing heart arrhythmia
Anxiety
Abuse or trauma
Relationship issues
Stress and depression
Bereavement, loss and grief.
Work related issues
I also provide support in times of reflection, including those seeking to explore personal and spiritual development in areas such as:
Mid-life crisis
Change of career
Loss of motivation and meaning
Faith crisis
